CAMPihan day, friday morning. it was a rest day for us, 4th years. We needed to be at school by 5am because sir fritz told us last thursday that last year, a they already left at 5:30am. Late people were left behind. I could never afford to be late in this ocassion. So in that morning, i texted my gf things like, "always stay safe, dont want you to get hurt" and "i love and miss you so much" and blah, blah, blah. Then Migs "Fernie" Fernandez, my bestfriend, txted me that he needed my help once we get to the school. Before that, i got hungry and was planning to buy krispy kreme doughnuts and coffee to wake me up. Mama and papa were the ones who were taking me to lsgh, so i told them about the plan so we went to greenhills. the drive thru was still closed pa pala. We tried to go to KK from inside Green Hills, unfortunately it was still closed. we say a guy outside cleaning the store so we asked him if the store was already open. He said "mamaya pa po sir. Mga 5:30 pa po". Of course i can't, or shouldn't, wait for it. So we went to dunkin donuts instead and bought choco krinkles :) yummy.When i got to the school, i dropped my bag and raised my eyebrows. I saw Fernie right behind me, hahaha. i saw his bag, it was MASSIVE!!! Our 3rd year english teacher could fit in it, hahaha. I was mystified and very curious what could be inside it. My excitment destroyed the curiosity, hehe. I helped him carry his bag all the way to gate 4b from the lobby, dropped his bags there, and say our other batchmates and classmates. I suggested him that we should see the high school building because it was very, very dark. I told him that before, i went to the school at 10pm with my other friend, i never imagined the school to be this beautiful at night. lanterns were opened, many lights in the glorious darkness, just like prom night. While we were walking, we saw two girls that look like they were from adult night high school. We just ignored and went to the HS building. He told me "wag na, lika na, balik na tayo". I asked him if he was scared, and we just kept on going inside. i stopped and looked at him. He stayed outside. hahaha. But i don't know if he senses entities, cuz he said didn't want to go in before i even felt something strange on the ground floor and we saw a red light on the stairs, very strange..... When i saw those and felt the weird feeling, i can sense that there was something there, i ran outside to the track oval while he also did, but going to the hallway under the bridge. We walked back to the gate and the teachers that were there told us that we are already free to go inside the bus. The bus was HOT!! (as in heat). The aircon wasn't really on yet, we just put our bags inside and went outside. We greeted the assistant principal and saw our adviser later on. He was wearing while his hair was standing up. The rest of us thought that he was one of our batchmates 0.o We stayed outside a bit then more and more students and staff members came to school. I wanted to go back to the bus, so i did, haha. It started to get a bit chilly, yeah, just like we wanted. By 5:3am, the sun started to rise and almost everybody went inside the bus, but some people were missing, such as Nicolo Neri and Paulo De leon. Sir fritz demanded to contact them and start rushing cuz they will be left behind. Minutes after, they finaly arrived and so we left. On to Bluroze Farm, Lipa City, Batangas ;)
The bus was really tight cuz there were a lot of stuff with us. Fernie's bag was under the chair and mine was in front of it, under our legs. Ver y very tight. We waited till sir Fritz was in front of everyone, seated in front because some of my classmates wanted to text, just like me. hahaha. Well, we were on our way and i started to put on my jacket. Not because it was cold, but i needed the hoodie to hide my earphones on my ears because it wasnt allowed and i was texting. Fernie was already sleeping after an hour, he was beside me. I was just listening to music and texting. I fell asleep for 30 mins i think. Good thing sir Fritz didn't see me texting and listening to ipod while Fernie was playing Tekken 6 on the psp while listening to the ipod too. I was eating Piknik and i forgot what Fernie was eating. Hahaha
We finally arrived at Bluroze Farm. We went down and started to line up in the assembly grounds. To start off, our house name was the "House Of Migz" (promise, i didnt decide this), it was for Bro. Miguel Febres De Cordero. Our ho use color was green. some of us ended up not wearing green shirt -_- Razon suggested some cheer he saw somewhere. But we thought of something else. I told sir Fritz that i wanted to go to the washroom close by, and Fernie went too. It kinda gives a bad vibe since the window was completely open, open as in there is only a big hole on the wall like 1m above the toilet. After going, we went back to the line and we were about to start using the cheer that we just made. After the cheer, we start to plan what to do next because the 1st challenge is tent pitching. The tent pitchers started to go to the disassembled tent in the field, right beside the forest. 20% of us got the things for breakfast, 75% helped fix up the tent, 5% did nothing (not sure). After pitching, Pescante activated the megaphone's siren, gi ving the judges the signal that were done. we went to 3rd i think, or 4th. We went back to the bus to get our things and position ourselves in the tent. I was kinda surprised that sir Fritz's bag was just right beside mine. I just kept on waiting and waiting, then i saw some people play with bustamante's volleyball. I just went in, then it slowly turned into dodgeball. Section C vs. section D, C was the team to throw the ball. Sun-tzu managed to catch the ball 3 times, while the others were getting hit, one by one. the last 2 were me and Paras. He was targeted first than me, and he was eventually hit by someone.
I was the last one. i just kept on doging and dodging till i was tired. Suddenly, while i was dodging, i tripped backwards and my shorts stopped my knee from moving more, thus, falling backwards, and go t git by Bench's throw on my left eyebrow. It was hilarious cuz it was unexpected for me to be the last one.
Everybody laughed, so was i. Then it was ou r turn to throw and Cinco suggested that i throw a ball at bench to take my revenge. Hehe, well, of course, i missed. Damnit. Then miss Marry-Arr told us that we should stop. We thought that she was just killjoy, but we understood that she wants us to save our energies for the games. and we really might get demerits because we caught too much attention. We got bored again while the others played volleyball instead.Here comes the next main event, The Amazing Race. We went to the activity grounds and lined up. The thing that we need to do was get 2 navigators to read the directions on a piece of paper and use a compass to navigate. But unfortunately our navigators were having a hard time looking for the first tag. We still didn't get our first tag and the other 2 houses were already on to the next challenge, the food preparation. But too bad we won last -_- and i didnt get to join in cuz i didnt notice that the spider web challenge was already done. Hahahaha, my bad. Then we went back and ate lunch, and our lunch was corned beef, if i remember. And i ate 3 pieces of hard boiled eggs so i could get my energy up. Fernie said i should eat it whole on one bite, with the shell 0.o of course i didnt. Miaco then challenged my to the most pull-ups done, but eventually sir Fritz was around, and he probably wouldn't allow us and tell us that the bars of the tent would snap and break off. It would be a huge problem if it happens. I was just eating my Pringles, sitting on the roots of a tree. People kept on asking for some Pringles, until it was halfway done. I was still hungry after that, so i ate 2 pieces of hardboiled eggs. My other housemates were still playing volleyball and i was just sitting on the side, then sir Fritz came to me and, not in an awkward way, told me that i had a nice body, too bad that i'm kinda short. Well yes, i know i'm short, i admit. He was just asking how much pullups, pushups, and sittups i do. i said with an average of 60 per say, that was when i was doing 10 pushups per set, and 6 sets. Since i've been lifting weights, i'm not sure how much i can do anymore. I told him that i try to do the style of pushups that Bruce Wayne do from Batman Begins, the one where he stands and falls like a stick and starts making pushups. He also thought that it might hurt me cuz it was free fall and the only thing that stopped my from hitting my face to the ground was my arms. I explained about resisiting the hit and using my arms like springs to resist the shock, nosebleed.
Then it was kinda getting dark, and we heard the other groups practicing for their presentation. We even dont know how to do it. So we gathered under the sleeping tent to decide what to do. We decided to put Kundirana singers, AirForce crew, and R U D Golden Man contestants. Dondi and Adriano were the narrators or hosts of the presentation so its gonna be like a live performance show by some famous group worldwide. Sir Fritz told us that we (house of migz) had to go to the assembly grounds so we could talk about something. It was to reflect about being humble to each other. It was pretty quiet and we were tired. we were separated into 4 groups and we had to make our own skit about being humble. when the 2nd and 4th group were performing, me and fernie were starting to feel tired. i lied on the ground and looked at the stars above. The sky was beautifuly clear, we can see almost every star in the sky. Camba saw "the rosary". He said that if you could see 8 or 9 stars in that pattern of stars, you have 20-20 vision. Apperently i only saw like 7 -_- bummer. After that, Dan was suddenly talking about his horror experiences. He said that when he watched The Grudge before, he never slept with a blanket on, sleeping face up, always sideways or face down, never agin cuz he got frightened about the movie. Hahahaha. But sudenly it had a Blackout, i kept on telling Dan "the grudge na yan! the grudge na yan dan!". He gave me a fuck-you sign. Wahahaha, it was hilarous. When the lights went back up, azaraga told him that while he was watching tv alone, he felt a cold wind swept through his face and he said "putang ina". The tv suddenly went off. I told him that he should try takign a bath in the showers at beside the house tent, without light. He also said that he was sure that he would cry if that would ever happen 0.o after that, the performance started. First off was AirForce crew, which consists of Fernie, Bench, and Dan, then R U D Golden Man contestants, but using other people instead such as Cardenas, Insigne, Razon, and Bustamante. Then Kundirana singers (unfortunately Reyes was not able to go to CAMPihan, only JP) sang "Breaking Free" from High school musical, while Sun-Tzu was dancing with Razon, and Lagleva with Bustamante. Since we could see that it was a very good presentation, especially Adriano's speech cuz it was just an impromptu speech, we chanted the house cheer. And at the end we ate Tropical hut Burgers, along with browies, and fun chum juices :P fernie and i took 2 pieces per kind, except for the burger. It was a big burger, but i hated the pickles in it. We went back to the tent and decided to start taking a bath cuz we were starting to stink. hahaha. smell of nature :P I saw that people where commenting about the water supply. The bathrooms that the House of Myu was using had huge amounts of water supply. their faucets were like showers while ourse were like overdue water bill shit. We had to take a large container of water and fill it up from Myu's bathrooms. It took up more than 5 mins to fill one. As nightfall came, we started to get a lot of mosquito bites. Sir Fritz told us that we really need to put on Off lotion cuz there were Tiger Mosquitos around. It was kinda frightenening cuz Tiger mosquitos are twice as large as normal mosquitos and the are more aggressive, cuz i saw one while i was taking a bath 0.o i was trying to kill it with a tabo. hahaha. Well it was dark and we needed to start fixing our positions. I told Azaraga, Tan, Lagleva, and Floro that we should try going into the forest, even for just a bit. They immediately rejected. hahahaha. Dan told us that he would tell us more stories, he eventually didn't -_- but still, it was a nice day. When I was on my way to sleep, i wanted to listen to music and text with my gf. I was sleeping between fernie and Lagleva. It was quite crowded because around me were big people. I wore tight black pj's and Off lotion only because even though we were on a mountain, it was hot because it was still crowded -_- I was wearing the camoflauge net that my dad gave me as a cover for my body. I slept on my bag as a pillow and my earphones were still connected to my ears. hahaha. Damnit. Well, that ends day 1. It was really a memorable day indeed, house of MIGZ original ;)
